I have been away for some time taking care of family business thus the delay.

Relatives tell me Kassandra's story is told by the Halmark Movie "Medicine Woman" (not the TV show) but I have never seen it.

Yes She was but that is not what She was most remembered for. Her best known contribution was introducing Native American Medicine into what was considered the modern pharmacopia. Interestingly enough many references leave out the fact that she was Cherokee.
