Thank you for your posts and suggestions... I gag when I smell smoke, so my solution was not to work with clients who smoke. I have done groups in a large room for smoking cessation..and it wasn't so bad. And I believe I told them to not smoke…

I have a ceiling fan and have used a ionizer/purifier (it was not as effective as expected) especially for the upholstery.
Febreze - I have never used it. I will look into it. My concern is substituting one 'scent' for the other.
