Hi Roy,
Thanks for getting back to me about this - I'm a bit in awe to be honest ... wow, one of the world's most respected hypnotists answered my query!
Sorry I haven't replied sooner; the way threads seem to 'widen' on…
I think a lot of this would come out of a strong 'pre-talk' (assuming your skypenosis is the verbal form and not the typed form). I went from 4-a-day to zip in a single 2 hour session.
In my opinion, if this lady isn't practically…
Hi,
I completed the Foundation Course last year. My question is this: can I use any hypnosis-related 'title' after my name for this, e.g. on business cards? I doubt it, but just asking ...

Roy,
I am not trained in Parts Therapy, but I do have your book about it - does this qualify me to be in this group?
I'm curious ... in Parts Therapy, in cases where dialogue is achievable (rather than just discrete finger responses), from…
Hi Simon,
I've not seen it written anywhere to my knowledge (although it's likely to be written somewhere) If anything is static or constant we habituate to it. So if someone wears glasses they habituate to the feel of the glasses and…
Ooooh - I have this book! Will give it a look over soon enough. What do people feel over this general question: is it possible to do as much in terms of changework in self-hypnosis as in hetero-hypnosis? Assuming of course that the skills of the…
Thanks for the reply, dan. I've finally gotten around to responding. I have seen some reference to this spinning approach before somewhere. Do you have a reference to a text that goes into some detail about this? To be honest, I can't say…
Good question!
I've spent a lot of time streamlining the fast phobia cure - it's a fantastic tool which just works.
Instead of using a cinema screen, I use the analogy of a CCTV camera (it's just not necessary to visualise yourself…
I love working with phobias - bring up the feeling, regress to ISE, do the inner child work and forgiveness, go thru SSEs and change perception ... standard Elman work see "Hypnotherapy" by Elman and see his case studies.
Advice on inductions and therapies, esp. parts reframe
About Me:
Hi,
My name is Simon and I live in Derbys, UK. I am a Mechanical Engineer / Mathematician and hypnosis is one of my hobbies. I got interested when I stopped smoking instantly after one session.
At present, I am not interested in Street or Stage hypnosis, as I see them as being 'gimmicky' uses of hypnosis. Saying that, I'd like to understand and become competant at rapid / instant inductions because I see their usefulness in the therapeutic areas.
Hobbies:
Hypnosis (I am HMI certified and have attended Anthony Jacquin's weekend training course)
Photography
Golden Retrievers
