What are you looking for on this site?
Information and ways to develop a lucrative part-time practice. I have been a student of NLP and find the whole hypnosis process fascinating. I have learned A LOT, but am not so good at putting it into practice. I don't at this time have the money to take any actual hypnosis courses, but I plan to.
About Me:
My body is 51 but my brain is about 25. I have 4 kids ranging in age from 16 to 25, as well as a 2 1/2 year old grandson that my husband and I are raising. I spent 17 years home with my children and 8 years in various other jobs, but now I am actually doing what I went to college for--Medical Technology. I work in a lab in a doctor's office. It's more fun than stocking shelves, but not much more intellectually challenging. My life has been a series of traumas and tragedies, but I have survived somehow. I have made a lot of poor decisions. In fact, when faced with a choice, no matter how much consideration I give it, I usually go the wrong way. (I do that with driving too! I get lost on a daily basis.). Either I am not listening to my intuition or I have programmed myself to suffer
Hobbies:
I don't really have time for any hobbies since I had to basically start all over again with my grandson. I was looking forward to getting more in to some things I have tried over the years, like archery, rappelling (not that I'm in the shape for it), learning to play the flute.....Mostly all I have time for is playing with my grandson, reading, and the occasional Soduko puzzle at lunchtime at work. I love video games, especially Legend of Zelda and Tetris, but carpal tunnel syndrome put an end to playing for any extended period of time.

Sue,
Welcome to Hypnothoughts. I think you will enjoy this community. I will be speaking at the Mid America Hypnosis conference in Rolling Meadows in Oct. I hope you come to the conference over the weekend and introduce yourself.
