I suppose I am really putting forward the thought that a Hypno Counsellor may be able to build up trust to a deeper level, therefore being more successful than a Hypnotherapist who may meet the client, take the info and prepare a session.

What matters is trust & rapport - so yes, (if I am understanding your question, a hypnotherapist can be very effective in the first session. (Is that your question?)

As well as being a professionally qualified Hypnotherapist I am also a professional Counsellor/Psychotherapist. I realised that the two could work well and complement each other producing a 'tailor made' service for the client.
Some clients come to me for Hypnotherapy and then have Counselling and vice versa.

Hi, I am a newbie member here from the Uk so excuse if I make any slips in protocol :)
I would be interested to know what anyone thinks/ has feedback on this therapy. It seems to be taking off over here and we are usually behind you so would be very interested to know something to see how successful it is.
