About Me:
I have worked as an Orthopedic Physician's Assistant for more than 20 years. I have always been interested in hypnosis and how it could help people. About 3 years ago I started taking courses in basic hypnosis to work toward my goal of doing clinical hypnosis one day full time to help our patients. I am especially interested in helping patients manage pain. As a former athlete (football & basketball) and having 'bad knees and back', I deal with chronic pain everyday. I use self hypnosis to help me manage it. I also had a weight problem that was a result of coaches telling me to get bigger and bigger from the time I was in junior high school. I lost about 50-55 lbs using hypnosis to get my mind straight as my neighbor calls it. So I am learning each day more about how "whatsoever we think in our hearts, we are" and as Romans 12:1 says "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind'.

I get tied up in my office and run out of time to keep in touch with people. If it helps, I think of you often..... You need to sign up for the HypnoSummit. The sheer numbers of lectures and the quality of the presenters is awesome....Bernie Seigel, MD, Judith Simon Prager, PhD, and many, many more people who have never lectured in the US. It's the best bargain in hypnosis education you will ever get.

Hello,I can relate to the old jock issues! I played basketball in H.S. and football in College and I have lifted weights since I was 10! The body can be strengthened,but it can be over used and worn down too.
