- When I was a kid, my dad was always getting books and gadgets in the mail that had to do with developing one's mental powers. I inherited his curiosity and most of his books. Many of them were rubbish but a few were surprisingly authentic. Back in the '80's, I attended Tony Robbins' FireWalk seminars and got my first introduction to NLP. Over the years, I've known friends who did a bit of hypnosis for fun, but I never thought I could do it myself. Now that there's hypnosis videos on the internet, I've rekindled my interest. I bought some books, bought some classes, and now I am practicing with other hypnotists every week at an informal gathering and learning more all the time. So I guess that puts me at Experienced Beginner.

Hypnosis can be used in so many treatments. From dental surgeries to major operations. I have used hypnosis on children who are hyper and it was worked wonder for the parents. Parents are enjoying their kids more now.

On and off for 8 years. I have also lived in Israel, France, Belgium and visited Egypt and all of Europe. I love hypnosis but found it hard to practice it in UK. Are you a hypnotherapist over there Karena or just interested in hypnosis.
