so glad to hear it got sorted. I just know a little bit because a friend is a Mac tutor though we have both moved and I upgraded to a 17"pro which is great except in my uneducated paws it's a bit like a chimp with a typewriter. Still I learn bits here and there that add up. I like your positive attitude and I like the wisdom of "There is nothing to fear but fear itself". Having said that, I see it that these emotions have a role to play, it is the dwelling in them that is unhelpful. Fear as an intuitional sensing something is amiss for instance can be a life saver. An 'invisible' threat like of this it's both unnerving and draws attention to, is there something needed attention for maintaining safety. It also drew attention from a fellow Mac user and made a good connection. PC users rarely understand why us Mac users are prepared to put up with the few short comings such as less software available. I've heard them moan about such and thats why they wouldn't have one, however I've yet to hear someone say they love their PC. Good to connect Teri
Welcome
I am also new here and met friendly folk already. I saw your post about Mac virus and as I also have a Mac ( couldn't love a PC ), I thought to connect. I'm not very computer literate, just thought it good to see if we can be of mutual assistance anytime, maybe about finding a useful program that will actually work on a Mac for instance ( just about the only downside to them ). I will be holding back from joining groups re your post and it would be helpful to have any news on it, hope you get it sorted OK. I thought it quite rare for such to happen to Macs !
thank you
