I first saw Core Transformation in a small 2hr workshop my friend was doing. After seeing this I bought the book. I already understood parts so this was too foreign for me. I've had some great successes with it and a lot that I could not bring to core. (I have to review the book again for language) One thing I do get most always is a path to the root cause. That's why I use it.
When I first used it, I asked a friend during lunch if she had anything she'd like to get rid of. She mentioned she had been biting her nails for 15 years. We did this and to her surprise, the nail biting was connected to her relationship with parent. The technique brought her to core and then back (It's a cool technique) in a total of 15 min. it's been 3 years and she hasn't gone back to biting.
In the insomnia case, the part would not communicate except in pictures of dark skies. After questioning it's purpose 4 times and getting nothing but images that I or the client could understand, I was about ready to give up and move on. I asked one more time (You ask the part what's it's purpose is and then what is more important than what it listed last) My client was quite for a few moments. I asked if he had any acknowldgemnent, he said yeah but it cannot be. I said what - he said it was for the love of someone who has not been in his life for 25 years. WOW! The core Transformation did not go much further but I took that information and did some regression with NLP TLT and he started sleeping right after that.
The book is easy enough to learn from as she gives transcripts and details what is going on. I recommend it as part of almost any therapy. I don't always use it to the book anymore but I use the basics in it and adapt as needed. It has been a great tool for me.
Hi Zack,

Yes, sorry we didn't actually meet & chat!
It certainly was a great weekend. I was happy to be sponge like & absorb it all & walk away feeling confident in using the tools. And, better yet, confident using my creativity & intuition :)
Tell me about you & your practice..
