I am glad I have perhaps brought you some understanding regarding the website. Look around and start a discussion if you have a question, there are many very knowledgable people here who will provide you with lots of different views on things. It's great to see different ways of thinking.

You are a member of this site but you don't know what it's about?
This is a group of hypnotherapists, and people interested in hypnotherapy.
If you have no idea what this site is about, I would say that your subconscious mind has led you here for a reason. That is what hypnotherapy is all about. That "something else" part of you that you have a feeling is there, but perhaps you don't understand what it is. That part of you that tells you things, something you just know, or something that tells you that things are different than what you think. Hypnotherapists connect you with this place in yourself.
That place that has brought you to a website that you don't know what it's about, but here you are Ha! Do you understand this?
