"Wow! thanks for all the information. This really makes me think that anything is possible. I will do a release from responsibilities form, work alongside a coach and visualize the muscles as an instrument. Great, great advice. Thank you…"

James Klingensmith commented on Elizabeth Kehir's blog post Can Hypnosis be used to change the pitch of a voice?
"I do know how to train the voice to become higher. (In Collage I was a "Counter Tenor") The best way is to work along side a vocal coach to warn up his voice then ask him sing a note in falsetto and drop it to the point in his voice that…"

John Cleesattel commented on Elizabeth Kehir's blog post Can Hypnosis be used to change the pitch of a voice?
"Elizabeth, Since all voices have a range, instead of a fixed octave you can possibly condition a higher default pitch to the voice that is more desirable for your client. The risk for the client is, straining his (her) throat from continually using…"

Can Hypnosis be used to change the pitch of a voice?

Hello gang,I have a trans gender client and he is looking to make his voice higher. Has anyone had any experience with this? The way I see it, it could probably be done in a similar way as sports hypnosis and building memory muscle. Any and all advice is much appreciated!Thanks,ElizabethHypno-ChicSee More

Paul Mostman, Ph.D., Cht. will be giving a free presentation on that fantastic new technique xalled Emotional release therapy at the IHF Valley meeting on Oct. 15, 2008, at 23501 Dolores St., Woodland Hills, Ca. 818-606-6679. New guests admitted free. This is the fabulous technique which enables a therapist to assit a client in permanently eliminating old negative emotions and feelings which have affected his/her life. This technique has proven effective for over 15 years with no negative feedback whatsoever.

Thank you, I'll let you know when things are up and running. My site psimatix.com has song music and info, but no full description of therapeutic approach, just overall concept. Talk later!

Hi, I am not at HMI anymore, although I still direct filmings for AHA, and I go in there typically on Thursday evenings. I am focusing on producing cds for other therapists, promoting my music, and offering vibrational sound healing and hypnosis. I am opening an office with my brother this month in Chatsworth, where I will have my equipment set up, including the sound table. It will be great to have an environment to fully immerse clients into sound, vibration, light and color. You should come by and check it out! You are honestly one of the kindest people I've known from HMI, glad to connect again.
