Thanks to Seth-Deborah Roth for pointing this article out on Face book....   Scott Sandland may have been a part of this as he did a lot of work with the USC Tooth Fairy Cottage, a dental school training facility for student Dentists and inner city kids, as well as he has worked with some influential USC Grad Dentists... at the very least, he provided an excellent role model in a professional setting to demonstrate how hypnotists can be both effective and professional in the Dental…See More

This site is a great way to network with other like minded people about a topic that we are all VERY passionate about. I'm looking forward to meeting as many people online and in person as possible, and helping to bring hypnosis and hypnotists into the 21st century.
About Me:
I am a full time performer/entertainer. I do Hypnosis Stage shows.. I have for about 10 years or so... I also perform Magic Shows... since I was about 9 y.o. and I do a SLEW of other educational entertainment shows that keeps me in performing mode pretty much all the time. Even though I am not specifically making a full time living doing hypnosis shows, each and every show I do is designed and modeled around the precepts of NLP, Nonverbal Hypnosis and or Conversational Hypnosis. Each production, each show, each speech or presentation is a hypnotic event. So yeah.. I'm a full time hypnotist. I still Study hypnosis... so I am still a student... Its not just how I make a living.. I also PLAY and enjoy the effects even if there are no $$$ to be made.. so YES.. I suppose it is a hobby as well... and I am a Hypno-Junkie.. I LOVE being in trance and it is not uncommon for me to have a hypno friend put me in trance.. so YES... I am a client as well...

Good morning.. good evening no matter where you are in the world wide web. I just got back in from the Magic Castle in Hollywood and have not made it to bed yet... so where else do we go? Hypnothoughts!

An Informal poll, survey or general questioning ....

OK.. so In the last few days, the question was raised about the quality and quantity of training hypnotists get that are working with clients.  This person who raised the questions was sure that most hypnotists who work with clients are totally un-qualified and under trained. 

 

I would like ALL the members here on Hypnothoughts to respond in this survey, just to get an idea of the amount of training that our members have.  I may do a more scientific and totally confidential…

A little assistance please..

So.. Long story short..  I have a friend in Long beach who needs heart surgury to remove his defibrillator and fix his heart.  ( that is a REALLY long story )  There is a surgeon in Columbus, Oh who he is convinced can do it ( and is the only one who has said that he is willing to remove the unit from his chest )  but he must move to OHIO and change insurance to get the job done... 

 

 

I told him that I would see if there were any hypnotists in the Columbus area that…

Resource Help

I need a little resource help from my friends here today....   I have a very good friend who is having some heart issues... ( his A-tack defibulator mal functioned and fired of 6 times)  and he has mentioned to me in our long conversations that his HMO wouldn't even provide him with psychological visits for him to work out some issues he is having.  Lots of Anger..

 

I am a bit close to the situation.. and do not have a lot of psychology training for counseling for people…
