I was told the other day that for me to become a hypnotist or a hypnotherapist that I had to become a psycologist first. I just wanted to know everyone opinion on this.

You could word it that the only effect that the sun would have is to give thier skin a golden tan glow. This might be a substitute to tanning beds. It would difinitely be safer for the skin.

if the subconscious is in some part responsible for your breathing, your heart beat, the speed your hair and nails grow at, healing broken bones etc etc etc. and these things can be affected using hypnosis (mind-body connection), then why not?

There is certainly a large school of psychologists who would like you to believe that you have to be one of them before you can do hypnosis. But it's nonsense. Most psychologists know very little about hypnosis, and the ones who do study it…

It isn't true. It's a different discipline. You can be a hypnotherapist, and that's all. I am a Hypnotherapist, and have no training as a psychologist.

No, that's not true. I think in some States in the US you have to trained before you can be an anything-therapist, but there's nothing to stop you becoming The Hypnotist.
