Very. At one time or another, I've induced all of the major deep trance phenomena via text alone.

Its a completely free platform that runs off of wordpress multiuser and I believe wordpress 3.0 now. It may have a ton of things that you find useful. I believe you can also incorporate the simple-press forums plugin. I have this forum plugin for my wordpress 3.0 site. The only thing about buddypress is you need hosting that is not shared (I think I'm correct in that).
