Hypnosis and the developmentally delayed

Does anyone work with the developmentally delayed population? If so does hypnosis work for them to decrease anxiety/anger/feelings of helplessness due to their disability? If anyone could help me with this I sure would appreciate it and if anyone has any techniques to use I would gladly take any suggestions. You can send to my Inbox if you don't want to post here. How does one deal with the anxiety???

I am now a non smoker, still after 7 days and I feel good for the most part. Amazingly enough I have NO cravings for a cigarette but what I do have is a tremendous amount of anxiety which feels like thousands of butterflies swarming around in my stomach. I have had fewer headaches and other smoking related health issues, I listen to the cd given to me and other relaxation music/talk but have yet to be able to rid myself of the anxiety.....any suggestions?
