how do you run a group session

I've done one-on-one sessions for about two years. Michael recommended that I run a stop-smoking session, possibly in conjunction with the local AHA or hospital, in order to let people know that I can help them with these problems. I've never done a group session. I've tried to find information on how to lead a group session, and/or find a blog that discusses it, with no luck so far. What recommendations or suggestions can you give me?
