I made a video

So tonight, after watching Joe Biden and Sarah Palin duke it out over various issues, I thought to myself "Self, why don't I start making videos and put them on youtube and such!"

Well right then and there I dropped everything I was doing and went to work on my very first video. Ever. This took me about 2 hours total to make, it was a long and arduous process but I'm happy with the final outcome.
I decided that my first video was going to be a What is Hypnosis video and that I would dispel some… Continue

Hypnotic Language and Embedded Commands

Hey HypnoPeople,

My brother asked me if I could help him out with an article he's writing as Class President for the school newspaper. He asked me if I could put embedded suggestions and use hypnotic language to encourage class participation and unity amongst his classmates. I didn't really know how to help him out on this. I mean, I have a basic understanding of what they are but I'm not really clear on how use them in writing like articles and such. Anyways this is what he asked:

“Hey I was… Continue

I'm working on a very important project that can use the attention of some very talented, specialized individuals.

If you are someone who's an experienced "Wikipedia-type" editor and you are savvy in both style and formatting I would really appreciate your help! This is something that's going to require a little elbow grease, but understand that it's very fulfilling and will ultimately help to enhance our HypnoCommunity.

The perfect person would be someone who is meticulous and pays attention… Continue

NGH Certified Hypnotist Course at the 2008 Convention

Tomorrow's my NGH Certified Hypnotist certification test! I am taking the NGH Certified Hypnotist Course with Patricia MacIsaac & Ed Morris through the NGH at this years (2008) convention in Marlborough, MA Aug. 3rd through the 10th. So far the class has been nothing short of amazing and I've learned a great deal and even further solidified my own sort of flow and style. I got an extreme boost of confidence from the abundance of compliments from colleagues saying a have a great voice… Continue

I never thought this would happen! FINALLY!!! Another college student who is a hypnotist. I am 21 and finishing college in the spring, I've been a hypnotist since I was like 11 and when I try to talk to other people about it who are my age they just stare at me like I have five heads...sorry for the randomness, I just got excited seeing someone else my age who is a hypnotist.

Hey Steve, thanks for the friend add. I thought we had done this long ago. What's your major? Where do you go to college? I have a 21 yr old daughter who is transferring to Naropa University in Boulder, Co next semester. She's majoring in Somatic Psychology. She's certified in hypnotherapy and plans to continue a private practice in Colorado. She's had a part time practice here but it's tough to do much while you are a full time student. At least there are plenty of people to practice on on a campus.
