10 Ways To Tell If Your Career As A Stage Hypnotist Is Skyrocketing

10. You get people buying you drinks, which you would love to accept, but you actually have to drive to another gig that night (for real).
9. You have a stage mascot (even if it’s just some dude dressed like pita bread).
8. During the show most people forget who you are (as opposed to before the show when they did not know either).
7. You have a dressing room (even though it’s a broom closet with a paper sign on it and your name printed in crayon).
6. Some people will not look into your eyes for fear of “being in your power”.
5. You get to eat at the concession stand for free (or anywhere you want for that matter…look into my eyes… noowwwwwwwww… give me a doughnut!).
4. People approach you after the show and want you to instantly cure them of all their problems.
3. You are happy to get a hotel upgrade and stay at a Super 8. Oh yeah.
2. People say your show is the best they have EVER seen (nevermind that it’s the ONLY show they’ve ever seen).
And the number on way to tell your career as a stage hypnotist is skyrocketing….
1. You go on AFTER the Elvis impersonator.
