Sometimes, I think all "musings" are hypnotic. At least to the person who is doing the musing anyway. I've been a certified hypnotherapist for almost 2 years now. My practice is building slowly, but I cherish each new referral. My son just started a new business too, totally different from my own, but he found an office in a old reconditioned warehouse facility that is fantastically affordable... I'm talking about $100 a month... so I'm musing today on whether or not I should take the plunge and establish an office there.
I know that for most people that would be a no-brainer. The office is beautiful, the setting serene, the location ideal, the cost almost unbelievable. But the thing is, you see, that I want to move next year, maybe, not just across town, but from Michigan to Arizona. There are a lot of reasons I want to do this, but suffice it for now to say that the pull I feel to the American Southwest is stronger than any I have ever felt. So, I'm torn. I could establish the business even further here, then feel slightly odd when I decide to move, or I could do what I can do here, take the office, and just know that when it is time for me to move on, God and the rest of the universe will take care of all the details for me.
And I suppose, in a way, that is the purpose of musing. To list for yourself, or others, the reasons to do or not do something, and then to make a decision based on the answers you come up with. And so, in the process of musing, I've made a decision. You are all cordially invited to the opening of my new office. I'll let God and the universe take care of the details for a move.
