Hello Everyone:

This is my first BLOG so here goes.

I would like some input on just why and how rolling the eyes up toward the ceiling and or focusing them up to a spot near the ceiling helps induce hypnosis. Anyone have any scientific explanation?

ok I give up Are you talking about the eye blink induction. Or the third eye focusing induction. I have used both with great results as reinductions for returning clients. Could you post the script on your blog Zolita so that it would be available to all.

Amelia... Zolita.. and Katherine .. I've used that type of induction for all ages... and it works marvelos.... In fact Don Rice and I did a Stage show this past weekend and that induction was used for the little ones under 10 yrs of age... the teens... and the adults... It works !

Hi Amelia, Zolita and Katherine,
I too would be interested in looking at the eyes focused upward induction.

Zolita, maybe you could post it off your blog or homepage here at hypnothoughts.

Thank you,

Victor

Thank you Zolita for your comment. It's probably also why people who mediate in prayer look upwards or are often depicted that way in artwork. Hmmmm...
Your attachment did not come through though or else I don't understand how to retreive it.

Dear Amelia..This what I know. The eyes bing focused upwards cause a scramble effect effect in the frontal lobe of the brain. This disengages the conscious mind and allows for both subconscious functioning and greater suggestibility.
The University of Washington spent several hundred thousand dollars researching this subject and came up with the attached induction. Try it out it is very powerful
All my best,
