Dear reader,
I was at the optician today for a free eye sight check up. She said, I wouldn't need any glasses on my left eye anymore. I have 100% eye sight! I was like: "What?! But I have glasses like since I can remember! I can't just stop wearing them! How's that possible?" :-D She said that changes in eye sight are normal. I said, "Yeah, I'm 28 years old. I expected it to get worse in time though."
Because I was born with my right upper eye lid missing, they put in fluid stuff, so my eye wouldn't dry out. That's why I can't see well with my right eye. I'm not blind, I can see more than just shapes, but reading and stuff, I do with my left eye. So there's this question of what may be possible to do for my right eye now. The last couple of years I didn't have any correctional lenses for my right eye. Because I don't really use it to see anyway. The eye specialist, my parents and I agreed that there wouldn't be any need for thick glasses then. I asked the optician today, "So what about my right eye? I could be wearing a monocle, huh?" :-D I'll see a eye specialist soon for advice and a new check up to be sure. I'm a bit hesitant about not wearing glasses. I'm so used to them.
I knew something wasn't like it used to be for a couple of days at least. My eyes hurt a bit sometimes late at nights. I also couldn't see the time tables for departure times for the underground well with my glasses sometimes. I thought it was stress or something. I've seen a seminar with Richard Bandler where he talked about eye sight correction via hypnosis. It's been a while. What I remember however it seems to be basically about relaxing and tensing the eye muscle. My thought was that stress tensed the eye muscles too much and that's why I had teary and hurting eyes sometimes.
I've also done some hypnosis over the last months and I've blured my vision sometimes while doing it. So there were some reasons why something may be wrong. I never thought that it could be the other way round entirely! Like the title says: I like to imagine I did it with hypnosis. ;-)
By the way, feel free to send me a message and I may be posting my thoughts on your questions, comments, whatever...
I'll keep you posted! Stay tuned!
