Busy Busy Busy - Finally Finished Creating a Collection of Free Self Hypnosis Vocal Clips for Creating Your Own Self Hypnosis Tracks in My Voice

I have been offline a lot over the last year. A part of this has been to try to find a way to make as much of my 'downloadable' items free to those that would like to use it for self help or personal development or for learning hypnosis etc.

This sounds like a simple task except Lulu.com that I have used for years seems to have made some changes that stop people being able to download things!!! So I have had to go through the slow and arduous task of moving everything elsewhere.

I spent much of last year (2009) planning and creating my 'Hypnotherapy Script Creator and Treatment Planner'. In January this year I started to create a new (and as it turned out) more ambitious project.

The 'Self Hypnosis Vocals Collection' (Below is my entry about it and a link to download it for free that is from my 'Ericksonian Hypnosis Group' here on hypnothoughts. This collection of 'hypnotic audio clips' has taken nearly a year to create, record, rename each clip and organise and now it is ready for me to hand over to those interested in self hypnosis for free. My aim (as with the script creator) was to create something no-one else has yet created that people (for the ten years I've been online) have repeatedly asked me about wishing they had.

It has taken almost a year to make but finally it's here. A collection of over 2000 clips of sentences and sentence fragments in my voice for use to create your own self hypnosis tracks. There are also some 'backing sounds'.

Below you can download the Self Hypnosis Vocals Collection for free. All I ask in return is that tracks you create you share on here for others to listen to.

Dan Jones Self Hypnosis Vocals Collection

This collection of audio clips is made up of many different sentences and sentence fragments. The idea is to use a music or video creation programme like Audacity or eJay or VideoStudio or Windows Movie Maker. Select the clips you would like to make your own self hypnosis track.

The sentences are loosly catagorised to make finding what you are loooking for easier.

By selecting the clips yourself and being able to control spacing you can make the track in a way that works best for you.

The general structure (although not set in stone) is:

- Have an 'eyes closed' suggestion near the beginning

- Give suggestions for focusing attention and deepening

- Give suggestions for being responsive- Give metaphors that relate to what you are using the trance for

- Give suggestions for what you want the trance to be used for

- Give any therapeutic processes

- Give future pacing suggestions/suggestions of continued success

- Give exiting trance suggestions

You can also add in a backing track or sounds to enhance the experience.

Some pointers:

- Silence deepens trance so feel free to leave plenty of silence. You can experiment how much silence you like as you make the track.

- Any journey/movement/transitions deepen trance so you can deepen trance by suggesting stepping into pictures, changing the scene, going on a journey, walking down steps, counting, etc (always remember to exit the way you entered so for example if you imagine resting under a tree, having the mind wander to a dream, seeing a painting you step into

- on exiting you would step out of the painting into the dream, awake from the dream under the tree then come back to the room)- Metaphors prepare the mind for suggestions

IMPORTANT

This collection is predominantly designed for people with experience of hypnosis and hypnotic structure. It can be used by others but you are responsible for the tracks you create and how you peice sentences together. Tracks you create are no substitute for medical attention.

You may upload and share tracks you create with this collection and must give credit stating that YOU created the track using DAN JONES SELF HYPNOSIS VOCAL CLIPS

This collection of clips is being given away freely by myself (Dan Jones) and in return please share tracks you make here on www.hypnothoughts.com (you can do this by uploading the track elsewhere and sharing the link)

Hi Cindy I don't know how an Xvid player came up to download? I have just tried the link to make sure it is working OK. The product is a zip file of mp3 tracks and a text file so wouldn't be used with anXvid player.

(since writing this message and before posting it I have been repeatedly opening and closing the link. Some of the times 'Download' and 'Play Now' came up beneath the 'regular download' button. I clicked these as this is where ads were coming up to see what they were and it came up with an option to download an Xvid player. So note to all anything other than the 'Regular Download' button is most likely an ad for something else.)

To download the zip file:

- Click on the link
- A screen should come up with a timer counting down. This counts from 20 to 1 then you can click the 'regular download' button which brings up another three or four options of download with the first option being 'regular free' which has a 30 second timer counting down before you can download the item.
- Once the timer has counted down click the download button, enter the Captcha and click slow download then a file download box will come up on screen. Click 'save' and save the file to where you would like it on your computer.

I clicked on the link, got a Xvid player to download, downloaded it, nothing. Now what? I am curious as to what you have offered, but....

What a great idea, Dan.

I routinely remove the ending on hypnosis recordings because I listen to them before sleep and have no desire to be wide awake and feeling fully refreshed afterwards.
