the Free Hypnosis Social Network
So this fella wants hypnosis a few times a week....I tell him the fee, and he asks questions...as I answer, he realizes I will Not be touching him...apparently he thinks I'm s Massage therapist....then he asks, ...well can't ya give me a massage instead?... I say No, I don't do that...so he keeps on and on till I finally say ...sir, this is inappropriate & I will discuss this no further with you...good day...
So, How many other Female Hypnotists get such calls ?

He may have had no idea what EFT is. My guess would be if that was his intent and who knows-he was trying to see if you would, in a very round about way, without coming right out and asking since it is likely illegal or somehow shameful to him. I doubt there was anything in your advertising stuff that really made him think it was possible with you. He was probably just hoping. Very often in the various fetish worlds people use code words to find each other and some of those words because of their nature, overlap into other realms. I don't fault people for asking, it just isn't something I am interested in. I'd far rather someone just safely ask me than just show up and waste both our time. I have my hands full just trying to figure out pacing, inflection, and tone. My life is already complicated enough for me without adding more stuff to worry about ;)
gentle day,
Lisa

I was wondering if he was just fishing for an erotic hyp dom going through the phone book. Seems silly to make sex workers call themselves something else.

Comment by Richard Nongard - NLPBoard.com on September 13, 2011 at 7:15am If he thought you were a massage person, remember, many states have chased the hookers out of massage with strict licening lawas and enforcement (Texas). The hooks still exist, but they call themselves something else. In Oklahoma that is not true and the "massage" business in Oklahoma draws the customer loking for a hooker.... And so if he was confused, then it makes sense....
Of course, since Texas makes the hookers call themselves something else, it could have been a Texan trying to figure out what we in Oklahoma call our hookers.....
Which all leads to an unrelated topic: Amsterdam.
In Amsterdam they simple label things as they are. As a result, there is no confusion.... Massage does massage, hypnotists hypnotize, and hookers hook...
Comment by Lisa on September 13, 2011 at 7:03am Hi Carol,
I am in training so haven't started a practice where people can call me. My first thought would be confusion (is this really happening?), followed quickly by disbelief (did the printer somehow screw up my ad and I never noticed???), then Id try to not laugh out loud (oh sweet mother of Earth-this guy somehow thinks this is negotiable or even possible???!!!).
I am very curious about how often this does happen. Too bad you can't give him a suggestion over the phone to lose your number! I wonder if that guy ever calls up his dentist or his optometrist like this? Maybe I should consider hiring a marine drill sergeant as a receptionist...
gentle day,
Lisa
