Wife and I looked at a couple places today. Will be opening an office come March 1st. It is a nice small office that will not have a lot of overhead. I am excited. Some have asked if I had any problems working from home? Well it was fine for the clients that I have worked with. I however feel that I had missed out on maybe a quarter of the potential clients that had contacted me to work with them. It would seem that they would be wanting my services until I informed them that I had a home office. Maybe my imagination. Also working from home I had to tend to having my dog on occassion bark or the kids forgetting that I had a client. Nothing that hurt my client's session, but was something I would of rather not had to deal with. So, I am stoked that I will have a decent place to provide superior service to my client.

It also gives you a front and a public perception. It is amazing that home is often equated with amateur/hobby/novice. I also think you will find it much easier to 'turn off'...... Congratulations

Someone once told me that if you work out of your home, you will never get clients that live in nicer homes than you do.

I so understand the annoyance of the "dogs barking" next to my home office, I had to sometimes use it as a technique for deepining. I almost had an office recently in my town but it fell through. I will be so happy when I discover my new healing home away from home.
Good luck and enjoy
