Hi

I like the music and the happy faces too...

I found though that you actually can fake happiness to help you to ge there...

in Yoga breathing exercises for example "smile breath"you take a deep breath in through your nostrils, hold on to your breath for one or two moments and with the exhale drop your chin down to your chest, hold the breath for one or two moments and lift the corners of your mouth. Inhale and lift your head...how do you feel?

Apart from the invigorating and calming effect of a deep breath;the body doesn't know the difference wheather you are smiling to exercise or for real. Dopamine levels and other feel good chemicals in the body are likely to be produced. I believe that "fake it till you make it" has a validity as long as the focus is to get to the "make it"...
