Yesterday I did some more hypnosis with a subject I had already worked with. This time I used submodality adjustment to deaden some pain she had in her knee. I used a notebook to write down the changes I made, and I thought you would all be interested!

Spikey --- Purple --- Warm (her set of submodalities)

Sphere ---- Blue ---- Cool (Change 1)

Circle --- White ---- Cold (Change 2)

Dot ---- Periwinkle - Cold (Change 3)

At that point she was experiencing very little pain, so to complete the effect I took the cold periwinkle dot, stuck it in my notebook and closed it. Upon waking she felt no pain at all. I did leave all the usual safety-suggestions that should any injury come to her the effect would wear off. I also removed the suggestion before we parted, but for the 4 hours we spent together she didn't feel any pain.
