but I sure do like it, and I never needed another slice, but often I want one. however, people seem to defend their right to love and need pizza, and various other items when this verbiage is brought to their attention. and then go on an treat people as objects of convince, a commodity. what a topsy, turvey world we live in. but with my commitment I have to pizza and the various pizza places maybe I do love it. according to my last pet scan I think I'm at least addicted to it. (by the by what's the difference between a blog and a discussion).

I was going over finances with an individual whom was having difficulty 'making ends meet' which understandable causes stress. as we were going through and me pointing out the wants that could posibly be cut. I was told that 'you don't understand in todays life people need more than they need.' "Need more then you need' that aint miscommunication, that is internal confusion inwhich wants caused real suffering.

I really need to comment on that.
Oh wait, I just finished my pizza and that made me realize that I don't. It physically forced me to realize that. Pizza does that kind of thing, right?
Anyway, anyone who doesn't need pizza for survival is clearly not worth thinking about.
Oh wait, I just finished commenting here and that made me realize that I don't need pizza for survival, either.
What now? I'm confused! Help!

The grinning is beginning to take form...now. It's just that when I read this post before I did not look in between the lines. Your metaphor is interesting, since most consider filler the same as food. In fact it's quite costly to eat only real food. That said, I like (not love) the point you are making. I find nowadays that many individuals use words in a very loose manner and that leads to poor communications.

yes mentioned pizza, but my point is I get exacerbated with those who confuse their wants with needs, and the defense of their wants (cravings) being needs. Perpetuating unhappiness/suffering by pursuit of these wants as if they were needs/love. This has been on my mind lately, I was recently informed that I might be to ridged in my thinking related to this need/want issue and various other cognitive distortions. therefore just using this forum to vent, and appreciate everyone's thoughts. Everything after topsy, turvy world was my poor attempt at being funny and may have added to some confusion. (thanks for clearing up blogs and discussions.)

You are talking about eating pizza, Kipp, as if it is an uncontrollable urge. It just so happens that I find grain to be an addictive substance lacking in life force energy. Maybe the reason why you cannot easily eat just one slice and feel satisfied is because of that reason alone.

Blogs usually offer personal statements and opinions while discussions typically seek answers to questions.
