Hypnosis on the Radio: 105.9 The Edge


Mike O'Meara, Taylor Sherman, Irit Horn, & Kirk McEwen Hey everybody,

On Tuesday I was invited to the studios of 105.9 The Edge here in Washington DC to do a guest appearance and hypnotize the co-host of the show, Kirk McEwen. I had intended to talk a lot about hypnosis and it's benefits and misconceptions and so on, but it turned into mostly a stage hypnosis show with the occasional digression.

We had Kirk perform a variety of skits, since he was very willing to go to the deepest possible trance states. Now the skits were not always the most politically correct (for example we had him become the world's whitest man and he said he liked marmalade on his toast for breakfast), but this program is mostly guy-talk and so I'm hoping everyone keeps it in context!

If I was talking to a group of retirees I would use a completely different set of routines! But I'm hoping that most people will know that it was all in fun that I had him breathing out of his oxygen mask, located in his boot ;)
