I was just thinking warming thoughts of August...
It's snowing and blowing today in just about the entire Eastern part of the USA, but Spring is on the way. Yes!
Are you going to the NGH Convention in August? I have the honor to be presenting again, and I'd love to see you there. My free seminar will be on how to join and use the NGH Member Forums. It's easy, and although you do need a computer you do not need to be a computer whiz to participate. This will be my fourth year for this presentation and it has been received favorably each year, I'm pleased to say. It will probably be scheduled, as in years past, at 8 or 9 AM on Sunday, which tends to keep attendance down, alas.
Those of you who have been to the convention will remember that Saturday night is the night of the gala banquet and awards ceremonies, followed by dancing and informal parties through out the hotel. And I would be remiss not to mention the late night jam session featuring the multi-talented Tom Nicoli with his guitar and friends Lisa Mills and Marcel Klasen. In other words, a lot of people don't get started too early on Sunday morning, so attendance at 8 AM Seminars tends to be a bit sparse.
This great on-line resource of news, information and advice is currently under utilized and that is unfortunate. There are historical reasons for that, with which I'll not bore you here, but the current version of the NGH Member Forums uses the latest technology and seems to be problem free. I encourage all of you to go to http://www.ngh.net/smf_forums/index.php and register, then perhaps post a question about our profession that may have been puzzling you.
