Ever since I have been exploring the science and art of hypnosis i have called into question what i have naturally
done over the course of my life that could be as subconsciously using aspects of Hypnosis.

It strikes me as a strange thing that as soon as you put a name to some thing it endows it with, perhaps a mystique
or an authority it may or may not deserve.

I have always put my self into what I now would call a trance because I have now learnedt a vernacular pertaining
to a ideology ,when i focus on a task I really want to achieve.

This is none more evident when I apply it to my sporting endevours I have always used some sort of mantra to keep

me in the Zone ,so to speak during an intense competition.

I have to stop and laugh when I think of an incident during a national Australian triathlon titles I found that by
explosively talking to my self on a particular part of the course ( a nasty hill and turn around)

it was my hypnotic state to get through the pain, the only thing was My explosive mantra on my breathing

cycle was "GET MOVING YOU BASTARD" now I am 6'3' and 90kg so I was scaring a few competitors who
heard a heavily breathing sweaty dude running them down .

I am more enjoying the more peacefuller non threating hypnotic scripts at the present time :-)
