HypnoThoughts.com

the Free Hypnosis Social Network

Well, my site got hacked and all the PHP files were infected and redirecting traffic to malware sites. I fixed it by uninstalling all my WordPress installs, etc. and am planning to just have a static brochure site for now. My irregularly-updated blog will be here (where it might just be more visible anyway), and if I can figure out how, I can have it echoed somehow on my static site.

Unfortunately, I lost everything I had up there; I backed up the database with my posts, but given I'm not reinstalling WordPress ... ;-)

So there you have it. Now to come up with interesting posts on a regular basis ...

Oh, I had backups, Bill. I just don't have them in a format I can access easily. I think if I download MySQL, I should be able to access them and retrieve the content, but ... I'd been slacking off on the blog part for a long time, anyway, so not too much was actually lost.

That's a good lesson about back-ups.  Make sure you keep your Hypnothoughts content in a way that you'll be able to publish it in book form later.

All the best!

Sorry that happened...discouraging to say the least. But, I am not sorry that you will now be blogging here as there is a great chance I will be a beneficiary of your writings!
