Nifty Plaque for My Office
Today is our 11th wedding anniversary, and when I woke up this morning, my wife said, "There's a card for you on your desk."
So I went to look, and what I found was not a card, but a big wooden plaque she'd been secretly woodburning for the last few days.
It depicts a Greco-Roman combination of gods Janus (god of doorways, transitions, and new beginnings, shown as having a face looking to the future and a face looking to the past) and Hypnos (god of sleep, and by extension, hypnosis, shown as a face with wings sprouting from the temples).
Underneath is my business motto: Miracles Venio Hic, which can be translated as "Miracles happen here" or "Miracles come here."
Traditionally, images of Janus go over the front door, but I think this one is too big to fit there! I'll have to hang it elsewhere in my office.

you know James this wife of yours knows you oh so well. She has captured the angel wings in the hair that mirrors your hair. Magical artwork! I am sure you both had a wonderful anniversary.
