I am in search of a script or suggestions helping a client remember names. She is a highly educated college professor and published author who has difficulty retaining names once she has been introduced. This issue has been impacting her professionally.

Thank you,
Lori Patnode

Lori, a gentleman by the name of Harry Lorayne has published a number of great books on developing memory, he is considered by many to be the foremost expert on the topic. Jim

Depending on your client's learning style, advise her to use her learning modality to plant the name in her mind. For example, I'm a visual learner so I always think about how someone's name is spelled and if I'm not sure, I ask. I spell it in my mind and it seems to stick a bit better!

Give her the suggestion that she will be hypnotically motivated to start practicing the basics of remembering people's name and that she will be amazed how how rapidly and effectively these tips, tricks and techniques help her remember names:

1. Pay attention to the person that your are being introduce to.
2. Imagine the name of the person is tattooed on their foreheads
3. Repeat the names that they want to remember 3 times during their conversation:
Nice to meet you - Lori... Where do you practice hypnosis Lori - It's been fun chatting with you Lori
4. Associate their name with a famous personality with the same first name.

5. And if ever you forget some one's name - look them in the eyes, smile and say I know who you are and I forget your name?
