Usually on the weekend I do some self hypnosis. When I have a desire to move, I'll usually follow through with it, but first I will say to myself, something like "moving my right hand under the cover [or whatever specific details], allows me to go even deeper into hypnosis", then I'll follow through with the movement. The narration with the movement is something new and seems to help quite a lot. I'll also do a count down deepener wtih "deeper, deeper, and deeper" in between each number.
Yesterday for the first time I attempted ideomotor responses, and got them. Basically I asked for a strong signal from my subconscious for a yes, and got a very obvious spontaneous raise of my finger. Later as I found myself spontaneously becoming aware of things around me and repositioning myself, I simply asked a rhetorical question to myself something like "am I finished" and I found my heading shaking "No", so I redirected myself back in. Later I found myself moving and becoming aware, again without really looking for a response I asked myself the same sort of question, this time my head started nodding 'yes'

Do you also use an ideomotor pendulum?
