Sometimes You're Looking for "Go 'EFF' Yourself!"

A great way to piss someone off is to ask them to do something constructive for you and then immediately destroy what they've done.

Pouring dirt on a newly vacuumed carpet or leaving a dirty plate on a clean counter for example. How can this be useful for hypnotists?

Well, I'm pretty much always looking for the F#!K YOU! when doing change play. What I mean is that I want the powerful positive changes to be so set in place that there is nothing I can say or do that will convince the client to go back to the old way. This is probably the best part of the experience for me!

And it worked swimmingly for me...I used to "Swish" and "Tap" for hours and not get the result I wanted (and whine about it). I was still stuck, until one day I realized, "Well f#!k, I'm really great at shitting on my own parade, why not use that skill in a useful way?" So I started getting really accurate with what I wanted in my life and then ran the patterns and than started to "S" on my parade. If I could get myself to continue with the behaviors, my UC hadn't got a sweet enough taste of the good life. There was more playing to enjoy!

Thank god we don't have to be a genius or even smart to get the changes we want! I was dumb enough to keep going until I got exactly what I wanted! Do kids have to be "smart enough" to play?

There came a point in MY life where the feelings of undeserved freedom, joy, adventure, optimism and pure happiness were so palpable and powerful by being free of my previous limiting behaviors, that no matter how many times I "tested" all I got was a playful "Dude, go f!#k yourself!" and uncontrollable laughter! And now whenever I am doing change work I say to myself that I want the changes to be so pleasurable, so freeing, so indescribable with words, that whenever I suggest to go back all I can hear is peals of laughter and sense of "Are you out of f#1cking mind? No way! No how! Nevermore!!"

And here's a kicker: I know down to my deepest self that if I want to, I can go back to those behaviors at anytime.

I can also go back to being paid minimum wage too, if you get my drift...

I now say to my clients, "I want these changes to be so powerful and feel so wonderful that if I were to try to make you go back to the old way of doing things there is no way that I could do it. Period! I want you to get so pissed off when I needle you that you tell me to "Go EFF myself!" It's funny, how they smile when I say that. I haven't met one yet who hasn't enjoyed it. Strange...

"Or even better, feel the deepest calm, look at me, laugh quietly, and say, 'Silly Boy!'"

That's how I'll know the problem is gone forever.

Can you see how this might help you clients?

I know, I'm a disgusting pig that way!

An accurately placed "NO" will change a life forever.

Shame on you! How dare you suggest that people should ENJOY LIFE? What right do you have to tell people to LAUGH and HAVE FUN? Your approach is so off the wall, it makes me LAUGH OUT LOUD. And I guess you expect them to RELAX and TUNE IN to your sessions and think that CHANGE JUST HAPPENS? Next, I expect that you'll say that you LOVE WHAT YOU DO.

Enough needling?

That's for installing that pinball machine in my subconscious (although I did get an all-time high score the other day).

Bill ;-)
