the Free Hypnosis Social Network
Good Afternoon All,
I will be attending the meeting at the bottom of this blog. I am looking for good questions to ask at this meeting. My goal is to make a difference and I'm willing to put in the time, the effort, the blood and guts, the research to help this community to wake up and start questioning why teenage suicide even exists and why it is so high in Lake Orion, Michigan.
Yet, the facts speak for themselves. I am aware that over the past five years, in Lake Orion, there has been 11 plus teenage suicides in this small, to say the least, ultra conservative community.
And since the last one, (two weeks ago) I have talked to surviving parents, talked to friends of those teens, talked to my neighbor who's son's best friend was the last suicide. This is insanity, How can this be? What are the ingredients for a teenager to take their own life over and over in a community that is so small a community that so, so fear's it's maker?
I moved to this community a few years back and currenlty live,on the border of Lake Orion, Michigan. You can look at my previous post's. I am baffled by how many over medicated clients I am referred. And I write this as I am now aware of how many of these teens were on prescribed pills. Pills advertised on T. V. that have the disclaimer "May cause suicidal thoughts".
As a parent, if I see my son's in a bad situation, we remove them, we talk to them, we scold them, "Buddy, if you touch the stove, you'll burn your finger, that is wrong and will hurt very much. Move away from the stove and you won't get burnt!" And than we hug on them, tell them we love them. A few tear's later, we have a new reference, one that last a life time. Don't touch the stove or you'll hurt yourself.
So what different message are the babies, the children and the teen's learning in Lake Orion? How can they believe that suicide is the way? And why so many of them?
This community is "exclusive" (don't ask, don't tell) very much part of the bible belt. Our family see's the old, traditional dress, we have them constantly knocking on our door "to convert you, to enlighten you and to save you." In the past, I would politely listen, hear their side. And when I question them, they sound robotic, repeating the same fearful mantra reply of "Or you'll go to hell!" Really? And when I ask them why they believe this, same reply,, there is no other way. The King James Bible is usually what I see in their hand.
In my subdivision there are two church's, denomonation's are very strict codes of who you can talk to as a teen/child. We see the car's pulling in and out day and night. We hear the words "Ritual, Stigma, Cult" from the kids that we meet at school event's at sporting events. It's one thing to be superstitious, this is fanatical almost prehistoric behavior.
My own children have been excluded over and over and to their face's, with myself or my wife present, have been called "You are outsiders, you do not belong here." Excluded from sporting events, school events, as we are not them. Crazy to write this yet very, very true, over and over.
Back water comes to mind. Hard for me to comprehend how it became what it is. Very, very old in it's way, was a farming community, now the burbs without a City. We hear parents correcting their children with versus from bibles, "When you get home you'll repent, blah, blah and read your bible!"
Funny, funny strange how the same child that is to repent is the same child, in school that is repressed. Attending my son's class's for functions, you can pick them out by their clothing, by their lack of eye contact. They seem controlled by someone, something that is not visibly there. And when they are approached, they do not respond or respond with versus from their bible and they tell you which bible it came from?
You can read, in my blogs, that a huge percentage of children, teen's come to me when their parent's finally get the fact that prescription pills are not working for their child. And, common factor with the parents, they quote their bible, have it in their lap, as if it is protecting them from the last resort, a Hypnotherapist!
Three common factors 1. All of the surviving parents report that their child was on prescriptions pills
2. All were members of very strict church's. Some were in bible study groups
3. All were reported to be, "Very normal teenager's"
So why is this on Hypnothoughts? Understand, that I hear that "Hypnosis is the work of the Devil" a lot more than I can comprehend.
Where do you start? What do you ask at this meeting.
Last thought, Look where the meeting is being held? And where is the true mind control!
Our community will truly benefit from your input.

This happens in all communities. I don't know what to ask but I would advocate that the public be made more aware of this epidemic and that youth and others should be encouraged to seek help as needed. Often there is pressure to keep these concerns a secret. The message is that there should be no stigma standing between an individual and the help they need.
