Tougher Room Than Vegas?

It's been almost a week since my show in Napanee - the town in which I reside. Performing in my own "backyard" for the first time, I decided to pull out all the stops production-wise. I brought along all the gear: full sound, lights and stage FX, backdrop, etc.

I've performed everywhere from Ottawa to Las Vegas, but this was the one that had me on edge. I think the reason I wanted to leave a really good impression, was the fact that these are the same people I see in the grocery store, the post office, hardware store, etc. and I knew that if I bombed I can't just pick up and leave town. Well I guess I could, but I'd rather not.

Well, the show was a huge success and I'm happy to say, I don't have to book the movers. It should be noted that when it comes to local live entertainment in Napanee, the bar has been set pretty high. This is the same town where a local young girl first performed her country tunes in places like book stores and coffee shops. She went on to do pretty well for herself. Her name's Avril Lavigne. Maybe you've heard of her?

Like I said, I had a great show and the client would like to book me back in a couple months. Maybe I could get Avril to open for me. Anyone know her number?
