I quite agree, I hope there is some way he could know how much his art has touched (and is touched still in ways he may have never imagined) people still today.
I wonder if he were born today if he would be recognized for what he truly was and what his art is.

Yes, my flute teacher had that very picture (well, a print of course ;) ) in her apt and it was such a beautiful beautiful piece of art. The use of it as a flowing moving touch sensitive responsive piece is sheer brilliance.
