I'm 38 weeks pregnant and counting... and was unable to find someone professionally that I trusted enough to take me through hypnobirthing type classes. Someone very special (but also far away geographically) has made me some recordings to help motherhood on its way.

I want to do this as naturally as possible. I don't want to come across as a hypocrite for a start! And I want to have my little one using as much of mother nature's way as is possible.

Yikes!

Congratulations on getting such a beautiful, eye-open picture of your beautiful little man.  Store a copy of this picture away, with instructions to open it again when he's a teenager.

Totally,TC! It seems in another life. Although events were incredibly traumatic for us, and I've cried buckets, my love for my little one is the strongest feeling I've ever had.

And as for conflicting advice? We've been given as many different dos and don'ts as there are molecules! x

Congrats Henxy, shame you had to experience such distress, but isn't it funny that once you look into your child's eyes it seems so far away and so long ago?  or at least it will in a few days, a few more days of discomfort as milk comes in and hormones fluctuate and as you possibly have the challenge of so many with conflicting advice... hang in there, your gut instinct is ready and willing and you just know what is right

Hi peeps.

Things went very far off plan; little man went OP & got stuck. I was in agony for 4 days (unimpressed with midwifery staff). Although I was unable to control the pain, I was able to remain calm.

My calm birth became an emergency c section... but now I am mummy to the most wonderful, beautiful little boy.

Thank you all for your support xx
