By using slight of hand, I create the suggestion of deep hypnosis by making this girl think she lost the feeling in her arm, while in a deep trance.

The girl in the video is a polarity-responder, so while hypnotizing her, I had to give her "proof" of her state of trance.
By doing that, I not only gained her rapport, but also surprised her, what gave more credibility in a short time of the state of hypnosis she was in (she wasn't that deep, before she had seen how numb her arm was)

Why didn't you just hypnotise her and tell her she had lost the feeling?
