Her psychiatrist says she is one of the most difficult cases he had...

In the past 14 months I’ve had a total of about 25 days where I’ve felt normal. I would never actually hurt myself, but many days I just feel like I can’t go on and life is not worth living like this

Lisa and Don,
I understand completely how demoralized you can become when you encounter the "Medical Shuffle." IF her psychiatrist said she was one of the most difficult cases he had ever seen he should have his license revoked until he can take further training. That Lisa managed to struggle under the weight of one mis-diagnosis after the other is a testament to her strength and her ultimate belief in herself. After only a handful of sessions with you is a testament to your ability to help her unlock that stregth and to reverse the damage done by "authorities." Congratulations to both of you!

Don, there is one thing that I always see as such a blessing when people finally chose Hypnotherapy... they instantly feel better... seems like they all say it... I think it is because we empower them to help them selves, isn't it? We can't prescribe another chemical that will mask and fog the issues, but we establish that rapport and trust they so desperately seek, and then teach them how to get better. She is a glowing testimony to your skills, but also a great one for the profession as a whole. Thanks for sharing !

Thanks to all of you… I appreciate your comments. Leesa’s problems go much deeper but because of confidentially I won’t go into them. I can say that I deal with many clients that have similar or more challenging problems. For all hypnotherapists who read this post; I have found that there is one major hurdle that has to be overcome in order for my clients to have life changing results. When clients come to you with deep physical and psychological problems and are completely disillusioned with the medical community… They don’t trust anything or anyone; but they are desperate and reaching out for help. The key to success with all my clients is first to help them reestablish trust and that opens the door to their Life Changing result.
