I'm seeing WAY too much of this lately. People with no real talent or experience saying they are going to "inspire" or "motivate" people into doing something they don't know how to do or have never done themselves.

Is mindset important? Yes. Just like skill, dedication, properly defining goals, experience, etc.

This guy just taught us all a lesson in how to fail. Aren't you motivated to do something else?

Well you can say a lot of things, but it's not worth beating yourself over the head with it.

It was bad enough what he did to her Scott, but then he didn't seem to care at all that she might be hurt. Even if she wasn't hurt, the humiliation he trying to bestow was very unsettling. I can't see how this illustrated anything he was saying - he just abused what little trust she had in him.

Hey Jon- I was thinking about this video last night on my drive home and was going to post it today. From what I've read, this guy has a rap sheet of shady business dealings and is exactly what he appears to be in this video.

Amazingly I have found a far worse motivational speaker - at least the one in your video Scott was only harming himself - this is really quite bad

I agree Scott. I like to reframe this sort of thing by thinking that perhaps he is a guy who is attempting to teach that which he wants to learn (you know what they say - the best way to learn something is to teach it) and perhaps he is taking Milton Erickson's admonition to pretend until you get it.

So I am not going to fault him for taking action, imperfect as it is. I am sure there are people for whom he is the perfect teacher.

It would also help, I think, to know, that whenever doing board breaking, never use plywood which it appears he is using. You always want to use wood where the grain is all aligned in the same direction.

Thanks for sharing! My best laugh today, the video and the comments about the nuts in both pictures! What a great educational teaching video for increasing awareness on why helmets should be worn when engaging in activities that could cause potential head injuries or how our minds try to solve a problem WITHOUT hypnotherapy!

Here's a piece of wood I found while hiking in Northern Calif.....that was impressive to me! No one noticed it until I stopped to snap the photo.

I love your piece of wood Scott truely superb what one person can do when another thinks our favourite tree has blown down.

What amazes me is that beardy wonder actually uploaded the original video but perhaps not surprisingly when you see using comedy as one of his tags.

Nevertheless it was worthwhile becuse I looked across to the related movies seeing Les Brown who can always inspire you. Look out for the unbelievable size of his audience during the video. Even more inspiring to me when I remember last year an associate in Las Vegas connected me with Les on the telephone a 10000 volt jolt of electrificational cross Atlantic motivation.

Before I learned about hypnosis I used to wonder how people like Les stayed always motivated, all of the time, and I needn' t tell anybody here how my life accelerated when one day I realised simply in terms of a light switch its in two states on or off. It was that same day my Television was turned off for the last time then to hit the bottom of the Roller Bin(Skip, trash?) and I haven't subscribed since. Also many years of depression came to an end, was it TV related? my Epilepsy starting also to go into decline when I literally realised and decided I might use my mind also to turn the epilepsy off where drugs always had failed to tame it now I am clear even on EEG.

Namaste
