These have been out and around quite a while. Pretty sure we have seen them before on HT. I think there is more than a hint of truth in Jonathan's observations.

Take in to account that in this day and age a camera is a Huge swinging watch and Erickson is obviously very important. 2.24 the right hand lifts but it doesn't lower. The left hand doesn't move at all. Very cleverly Erickson ignores this failure and says you can lift Any hand. The rest is total woffle. 3.54 the suggestions for lifting, direct by the way, simply don't work. So at 4 minutes he simply grabs one of her hands and lifts it himself. Her subconscious neither understands what's happening nor does it respond. The hands coming down suggestions fail even worse. Eventually her right hand drops but in my observation that probably more down to Lactic acid making the arm tired more than suggestion.

The reason for her hand feeling heavy is it's just tired.
