Comment by Michael Miller on September 28, 2011 at 9:04am This is a great lecture. I doubt that Google or Facebook will take it to heart, but it lets us know what they are up to and should be the impetus to move us in other directions.
Also, yes it is the reason why my clients say "I was in the top 10 on Google and now I'm not!!!"
If you want to get the raw data from Google, without the filtered version, add this to the end of the URL string:
&pws=0
Hit enter and it will show you unfiltered results.
