I am just beginning hypnosis. I am trying to hypnotize my wife and I am unable too. I have watched several dvd's and used different scripts and I am unable to do it. Do you have any suggestions. Thank you.

Hypnosis has been described by some as deep mental relaxation and focused concentration.
Part of what a good Hypnotist is doing is having the Hypnotic Subject respond Post-Hypnotically.
So perhaps a post-hypnotic keyword trigger, where she might scratch her shoulder, laugh at your watch or pen, or notice and laugh at the color red.
If you are not trained nor certified, get trained and certified.
Maybe someone else as a subject would be of use, different people, different vibes. When I've worked experimentally with family in the past, they get distracted, thinking of how I'm using my voice, how much the love or like me, less focus, lower impact results.
