I am very sorry to have to inform everybody that there are companies out there who will offer to supply you with "leads", in some instances even charging you a fee, and then not pay you for the sessions you give the clients. I have been defrauded by a company called American Hypnosis Clinic out of Virginia, who now appear to have changed their name to Clinical Hypnotists of America. Please do not do business with these people as a lot of hypnotherapists have already lost money. If anybody out there has had a bad experience with them please let me know, perhaps we can band together and start a class action lawsuit or something.
Sorry to be a bearer of bad news but somebody had to speak up about them.
best wishes

Hi Carmen,

I'm one of those people also. They really pulled a fast one. I would join in with a class action suit. I think at least we should contact the DA and BB.

If these actions occurred across state lines and involved the use of the United States Post Office, check with your local Postmaster as well. Mail fraud is a biggie and the Feds hate it with a passion! Fraud perpetrated across state lines is a Federal matter and could bring them to the attention of the FBI, the US Postal Inspector's Office and, possibly, the Interstate Commerce Commission, not to mention their own state and local law enforcement authorities.

Just a word to those who may have been damaged by such scams in any industry.

(note - I am not an attorneu and this is not legal advice - always eeek competent counsel in any matter pertaining to the law and its application)

Sorry to hear of such fraud. I will keep my eyes posted for such things. I personally have also signed up, but never paid for anything, which is most likely why no referrals took place.

Thank you for letting us all know about this.

Hi Carmen
Over the past two years I have been contacted by this organization. I talked to them and they did their best to do a sales job on me. However once they realized that I would not go along with their fake rap [saying that they have someone in my area that needs a hypnotist] they no longer bother me. Besides if a client wanted a hypnotist in my area, they would consult the web or yellow pages. Good Luck and dont get scammed. Bob Roberts Ohio State School Of Hypnotherapy Reg 98-09-1497T
