As for talking to a group, you'll do fine when the time comes. If you're really worried, I know this great technique for preparing to give a speech--it's called, oh what was it, yeah, that's right--self-hypnosis!

I really have no idea what it will be like, but I know it will be all good. I have a son that encouraged me to take the Hypnotist class, lasting almost 2 weeks. I still have a lot to learn but I honestly feel that after 43 years in Nursing I must have most of the suggestions down already. What is your specialty ? What is your age group? How long is your day? Do you have many people working for you? Is that too many questions? I am finding it difficult to give up Nursing right now. I really love what I do. Any suggestions?

I'm semi-starting... what I intend to do is going to take a lot of groundwork - I'm working on getting approval for a pilot project through an insurance company and doctor referrals. I probably won't "start" until October - I'm going to be out of the country for a bit starting in a couple weeks. But I truly understand - I've had a LOT of stuff to do to try to get ready to be out of town, and other concerns have been going very slowly....
I noticed no comment on the suture thing...come on, what do you really think? (Promise not to use it in any way....)

I know I can put them in a trance state to deliver. it is sometimes broken by the delivery of a puppy. then we start again. They are very happy dogs. I hold their paw all the way throught it. they understand me, I understand them, very important.

You'll never guess...
This morning the last of the scab came off, and left about a quarter inch o what appeared to be suture material hanging out of my arm. I pulled close to an inch of material that was flimsy and broke easily out. But at least the wound is closed and mostly healed, and just perhaps the doctor's theory that I had a reaction to the suture material was right after all....
