I popped an instant message e-mail into the mix on the medical health and wellness area last night to you, and am not sure it arrived. A wonderful thing happened yesterday, and you are the very first person I wanted to share this with, for it is largely due to you that this happened. Last year, I had worked with a Vietnam vet on PTSD, stress and depression issues. The VA paid for these services on a fee-basis mode. He did well in the process (was a former client) and off he went. My practice has been made of many 1X situations, and I moved on to other projects. Just got another referral yesterday, and called the nurse at the VA (a personal friend) to thank her for her help. She said the psychiatrist in Phoenix was amazed at the change in the initial client, and said he would approve any others she had. It was with your guidance, instruction, friendship and professional perspective that this occurred. Were it not for the professional demeanor you so carefully embedded in your training, with my follow-up letters to the physician and other health care professionals (using the 1-10 scale, of course), would have been a "whack job". My office and way of dress is professional, my stationery appropriate, my demeanor toward physicians correct......it all started with your single presentation on getting physician referrals those many years ago at the ACHE Conference. Totally turned me around, and I am eternally grateful! Thank you!!

Ken continues to improve after the bout with the flu this last spring. Think you went through something similar with your dad, and it's heart rending to see folks lose their bounce. He's back, however--- tough tall Scotsman isn't about to lay down and quit. The latest gardening project is spading fertilizer into a rock-hard bed of clay right in front of the house. Not sure what will be planted, but I do know it won't be tomatoes. ha, ha. There's a vegetable man who comes into town now from the Valley. Beautiful tomatoes and other veggies, with no stress re: ground squirrels and the like. Kinda takes the fun out of it...... The other project is homemade yogurt. Oh, my. That's for another time.

Hope you get this thank you. May sent a hard copy to you via snail mail, for I don't even know for sure how I got onto this site, or the medical health and wellness site either. Just know how appreciative I am for your friendship and guidance. The offer of CDs to relieve anxiety when before the computer is tempting, but I already made one from your script in the Hypertension manual. Did you receive the testimonial I sent a while back? If not, I'll resend it and include a pisture if'n you'd like. Will also send an updated testimonial based on this latest good news if you'd like. Gotta get going for the day. Was so excited about the good news last night, had a hard time sleeping. Makes for a loooong day, but I really don't care. More soon.

The CD re: banishing anxiety sounds like the best plan we've had in awhile. Discoveredon Monday that when I sit in front of the computer, I quit breathing. I know, I know....I'm a slow learner. Self-hypnosis will be able to overcome that minor glitch.... a worthy project. When I get the picture, would you like it for support of the testimonial I sent?

Just go to the pictures of the groups on the upper left hand side of your home page on Hypnothoughts. Click on the picture. It will give you a link to join. It's that easy. You can do this and it should not generate large enough amounts of anxiety that I need to send a CD to banish them.

Glad you made it. How's the boy Ken? Please consider joining the medical hypnosis group and also my student group. Miss you.
