"History is a light that illuminates the past, and a key that unlocks the door to the future. "
By Runoko Rashidi

Great historians researchers and intellectuals of previous decades such as Ivan Van Sertima, Chancellor Williams, and Francis Cress Welssing to name a few. Have given us back the history and identity that was stripped through the institution of slavery.
Knowing our history has been vital to our individual and collective self esteem, allowing us to regain a sense of pride in our anscestery and our selves.
This brings up a question...we were black Kings and Queens, but who and where are we as a people now?
Preeminent present day historian, and research specialist, Runoko Rashidi facilitates our awareness in the truth of our divine identity, and shows us how to use that awareness as a key that unlocks the door to the future. Recognizing the fact that there are new generations of people who need to be educated about true black identity.
This Thursday Runoko and I will discuss the implementation of practical tools for prosperous, abundant living in the present , as well as highlight our illustrious history. Listen live to this powerful show, September 4 at 7:00 pm PST 10:00pm ET at Illuminations Radio www.blogtalkradio.com/illuminations Join the conversation or ask a question by calling 347-838-9577
