What are you looking for on this site?
As I am currently working toward certification as a Counseling Hypnotherapist
I am interested in learning more about the practical application of these skills
and would like to gain a wider knowledge of the resources available to expand
my skills. I am also interested in knowing more about the available networking
support groups for hypnotherapists.
About Me:
I majored in psychology many years ago in college but was pulled into
computer hardware engineering. I would like to return to the healing arts and
see psychotherapeutic hypnotherapy as an ideal way to participate. The has been much
growth in the field of psychology, I cannot wait to catch up and expand my knowledge.
Hobbies:
Between engineering and a large family I have little time for other persuits, but you could say
that this venture into hypnotherapy is beginning as a hobby.

Well, I think for starters I will start at home. Work on some of my own issues...Then my family. Is there anyone who cannot benefit from hypnosis? With my seven children I can think of many ways to practice (ie.. memory retention and recall, concentration, confidence, self esteem, better sleep/easier waking, anger management, ...) not to mention last night I used hynosis to ease my daughter's sore throat and earache so she could go to sleep comfortably.

By the time I get my certification I will have lots of practice and a firm testimony of the benefits of hypnosis.

I am also interested in exploring the limits of hypnosis as well. I believe hypnosis is limited only by the limitations of the human mind which we as a society have only scratched the surface.

I have a very good paying job so I don't have to worry a lot about building a practice or gaining clients to make a living, but I would very much like to transition from what I am doing and be able to someday replace my income with hypnotherapy so that I can devote most of my time to something I enjoy and that can help others lives.

I see you are from Palo Alto. You are in a very good area for building a wealthy clientele. And California is generally more open to alternative solutions.

Thanks for asking,
Ron

Ron,
I would be happy to shear clients, networking or marketing campaigns. I see you in the process of certification. Do you know what you want to do when you finished?

Thank you for the question.
